Hello
About
I live in Philadelphia and I have been building web things for a long time. This site is for the projects I make on my own. The full work history lives on LinkedIn.
What I do now
Associate Director of Software Development at IQVIA in King of Prussia. I lead engineering teams, keep delivery moving, and still care a lot about the web — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and the unglamorous work of making products that people can actually use.
I am a Registered Product Owner and a Registered Scrum Master. I like clear roles, calm problem-solving, and teaching people enough that they do not need me for the next similar puzzle.
A short timeline
Highlights, not a resume. LinkedIn has the rest.
- IQVIA Associate Director of Software Development. Previously manager and senior engineer. Web products for life sciences — eTMF, ePromo, eArchive, eUpload.
- ICF Interactive Front-end work from wireframes and mockups. Accessibility (508 / WCAG), responsive design, public-sector and private clients.
- FDIC.gov Lead developer rewriting pages for responsive design, semantic HTML, and 508 compliance.
- The Walt Disney Company Five years in North Hollywood integrating web work across divisions. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a lot of coordination between teams.
- NFL.com, via Accenture Page layouts, JavaScript, and graphics for a full NFL.com redesign in Culver City.
- Earlier chapters Internet radio at RadioCentral and Pyramid Radio. Before that, HearMe.com — games and chat on the late-90s web. I started in support and kept moving toward building.
This website
The useful parts are the sites and the fun apps. I used to keep longer HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SEO notes here. The web already has better references for most of that, so I folded the leftovers into one web notes page.
GitHub has a few starters I still like: adamschricker on GitHub.
